La Porta della Majella

 

 

“La Porta della Majella” is a country house recently opened. It rises thanks to the restoration of an old cottage. It lies within the Majella National Park, not far from the Gran Sasso and the sea.

There are many spots to visit in the neighbourhood, easily reachable by car; furthermore it is also possible to practice sports such as trekking, hikes, bicycle or horse rides.

“La Porta della Majella” has seven rooms with twenty bed-place, provide with services for disable people. The rooms are all different and furnished in a typically rustic style, each with bathroom and its own entrance.

In the adjoining restaurant “Il ristoro di Castrum Petrae”, it is possible to taste a typical dishes of the place and its surroundings, all prepared with local product which offer you the genuine flavours of Abruzzo. The restaurant can give hospitality to 40-50 people. Booking recommended.
